Heads up all research junkies: The current 64,000 question is this:
What is behind the odd assortment of facts that Barack Obama, Maitreya [see Share International and blog posts from this site] and Raj Patel all three share regarding roots and deep connections to Kenya? Raj Patel’s mother was Kenyan:
Born in London in 1972[1] to a mother from Kenya and a father from Fiji[7][8][9], he grew up in Golders Green in north-west London where his family ran a corner shop.[10] Patel received a B.A in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, from Oxford, and a Masters Degree from the London School of Economics, and gained his PhD in Development Sociology from Cornell University in 2002.[2][11] He has been a visiting scholar at Yale and the University of California, Berkeley. As part of his academic training, Patel worked at the World Bank, World Trade Organization and the United Nations.[2] He has since become an outspoken public critic of all of these organizations, and claims to have been tear-gassed on four continents protesting against his former employers.[2][7][12]
