Today’s Breaking News in the Mideast:
With a bloody and devastating three year old civil war still raging in Syria, as Iraq is now being carved into ever smaller disjointed pieces by ISIS terrorists, with Israel and HAMAS in Palestine now exchanging more rocket fire every three or four weeks, and with the ongoing unrest in Egypt seizing headlines daily, the possibility of a larger military flashpoint igniting in the Mideast seems to draw ever closer.
This page will document unfolding events in Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The level of serious unrest and instability unfolding in the Mideast is worsening with every passing week. I grew up reading stories about terror and suicide attacks in Israel, most of which during the 1970s and 80s were launched by the PLO or Palestinian Liberation Army, led by Yasser Arafat. Today HAMAS continues the attacks on Israel that Yasser Arafat was so well known for decades ago.
US foreign policy in the Mideast has been less effective during the Obama presidency than at any time in recent memory. If the Mideast finally fully ignites, the whole world will eventually be pulled into it’s deadly spinning vortex of war, and that is why so many eyes are always on the region. Bookmark this page and stop by to browse updates as they are posted.
Commensurate with the rising tide of hatred and violence in the Mideast is the rising threat of renewed terror attacks on US soil. When ISIS leader Abu Bakr Baghdadi was released from prison by US military forces in Iraq in 2009, he turned to his former jailor and said:
“I’ll see you in New York.”
I would like to introduce the following quote from Barack Obama as an example of one of the TOP TEN most misguided foreign policy statements ever made by a sitting US president:
For those who are just awakening to the magnitude of the present threat to our nation [ Why were you ever asleep? ] I’d like to present the following document, which I consider to be MUST READING for every American who loves our country and wants to see it protected intact from radical Islamic rot within.
This May 1991 memo was written by Mohamed Akram, a.k.a. Mohamed Adlouni, for the Shura Council of the Muslim Brotherhood. In the introductory letter, Akram referenced a “long-term plan…approved and adopted” by the Shura Council in 1987 and proposed this memo as a supplement to that plan and requested that the memo be added to the agenda for an upcoming Council meeting. Appended to the document is a list of all Muslim Brotherhood organizations in North America as of 1991.
Any “war watch” which examines the Mideast must also be on constant watch for rising incidents of radical Islamic incursions into the heart of American civic life and society. I strongly suggest that all my readers spend some time and subscribe to the news blog http://creepingsharia.wordpress.com to get up to speed on what is already taking place in America that might shock and surprise you. You will also find the RSS news feed for Creeping Sharia news blog on the front page right columns of this blog.
You won’t see these reports on regular evening newscasts as there is an ongoing explicit NEWS BLACKOUT against any MSM media outlet reporting incidents indicative of the advancement of radical Islamic thought and Sharia Law in the US on evening newscasts. Anyone who would like to explain to me exactly WHY this is the case, please hit the comment field below this page, and enlighten me. It’s infuriating and un-American to hide these news stories from the American people, but that is exactly what is taking place.
There are many insightful yet controversial new spiritual teachings emerging which examine the rise of Islam in the Last Days. Spiritual truth seekers and traditional Christians alike are examining the relationship of the Islamic religion to the concept of the “Beast” in Christian prophecy and scripture.I am one of those truth seekers, as many readers well know.
I am presently examining many new reports, articles and videos on this topic. I’d like to share two videos that I watched tonight. I have been praying for insight and understanding regarding the Islamic religion and the rise of the final Son of Perdition in the Last Days for months now. I do believe, on an intuitive and visceral spiritual level, that the prophesied 12th Imam of Islam, the “Imam Mahdi” is the one and the same man, who many Christians refer to as the final Son of Perdition, or the final Antichrist. This intuitive feeling has been like unto a slow dawning in my own soul over the past several years.
I am now being spiritually guided to read certain reports, books, and to locate certain teachings on this topic. As I find things that seem relevant to placing the clues into greater context, I will share certain of those items with readers. Here’s what I watched tonight:
By watching these two videos and then posting them for readers, I am NOT attesting that I believe every single word as presented in the material. The Christian Holy Bible is a deep and complex book, which is interpreted in a thousand different ways by different seekers. But this material seemed significant, so I posted it. Feel free to share this post with other Christians around the world. More new material is on the way.

“People will rise from the East, preparing the way for the re-appearance of the Imam Mahdi.”
- quoted from an Iranian video proclaiming the imminent appearance of the Muslim Savior, who is the known to many American theologians as the Christian Antichrist.
Was the 2011 “Arab Spring” a prophesied spiritual sign which American Christians should study? I have written about certain Mideastern predictions of their coming “last Imam”, the 12th Mecca Imam or the Imam Mahdi, several times during the last few years. Today I am giving readers an update in advance of 2012.
The Iranian government is presently engaged in a massive public education effort to inform their citizens and those of neighboring Muslim states that the rise of the Imam Mahdi, their “last Muslim savior” is imminent. They are also teaching their people that when the Imam Mahdi arrives on the world scene, he will make Iraq the seat of his world government, specifically the town of Kufa, or Al-Kufah. This sleepy village is south of Baghdad [ see map].
At the end of this essay I have posted two videos which are English translations of the Iranian propaganda machine’s present efforts to prepare their people for the arrival of the Imam Mahdi and for war. There is not a doubt in my mind that when of if US forces withdraw from Iraq, that Iran will quickly sweep in and begin anew their own conquest of the region, based on what’s being set forth in these two videos which I have posted below at the end of this report.
The Iranian people see the rise of the Imam Mahdi as a time heralding the arrival of a global government of ‘peace, prosperity and justice’. [ See the highlighted quote in this Iranian news article: http://worldmeets.us/kayhan000061.shtml#axzz1evPi8sCn ]
This would imply that Iran supports the longstanding globalist UN mandate which is attempting to march the nations of the world toward an eventual dissolution of their own sovereignty and into an international super-state. Many American Christians are vehemently opposed to this plan of future world governance, myself being one of them. The UN’s well known alignment with the Luciferian philosophies of the Lucis Trust and other new age think tanks place their world governance plans squarely at odds with American Christendom.
Cited: “There is therefore no doubt that only this anticipated savior [ Muslim Imam Mahdi ] will be capable of establishing a global government of peace, prosperity, and justice and cleanse the earth of all vestiges of corruption and oppression.”
I ponder how Muslims arrive at this conclusion, inasmuch as the arrival of the Imam Mahdi has long been prophesied to be eventually accompanied by ‘the war to end all wars’, or World War three. This war breaks out midway into his conquest of the nations.
The two opposing faiths [ Islam and Christianity] have wildly different interpretations of who is who, and what they will do as the Imam Mahdi arrives on the world scene at the converging apex of Last Days events. There is no compromise possible between the root core beliefs of Islam and those of biblical Christianity. Any pretense that such a negotiated “meeting of theological minds” and / or “merging of the two faiths” is possible, is both flawed and erroneous, tantamount to sin itself, as it infers blasphemy against the Divinity of Jesus Christ. Islamic belief holds that Jesus was a mortal prophet and nothing else.
The final Son of Perdition, or the Imam Mahdi, is said in the book of Daniel to “enter peaceably, by flatteries.” This is what the KJV Christian Bible teaches. Islam’s “savior” aka their Imam Mahdi is known as our “final Son of Perdition” or the final Antichrist. He is a man of the knowledge of “dark sentences” – a “vile person,” a man who “destroys wonderfully.” He is described as a man who knows how to “forecast his devices” against his enemies, a man who will “speak lies at the table.” He will be the man who first makes a covenant with Israel, and then soon thereafter breaks this covenant as “his heart shall be against the holy covenant.” [ Daniel 11:28 KJV ]
We must adhere to the precepts of Christendom, as our founding fathers understood them. Our nation was founded on those precepts and one of them was the freedom to worship and practice biblical Christianity as the soul desired so greatly to engage. Jesus Christ was not “just another human prophet.” He was the living incarnation of God the Father made manifest in the flesh to mortal men as Jesus of Nazareth. Further, He was the word incarnate, the Word made flesh.
This cosmic fact and Divine miracle supersedes all lesser religious and doctrinal understandings and stands as the truth barometer against which we measure the religions of the world. Any religion which omits this all important fact is depriving the souls of men and women with the historical information they need to understand what a unique and unprecedented spiritual event took place on this world just a little more than 2,000 years ago with the birth and life of Jesus Christ. The fact that Jesus promised us that He would return is even more staggering to ponder.
I don’t pretend to be an expert on this complex subject, but everything I read in translated Muslim articles from the Mideast appears to be a supreme distortion and an ongoing obfuscation of the true facts about the Lord Jesus Christ as presented in the Christian Holy Bible.
“According to Shi’ite Muslim teaching, the Mahdi will return at the end of time to rule for 7 years. We call this period “the Tribulation…. Ahmadinejad and his cabinet say they have a ‘signed contract’ with Mahdi in which they pledge themselves to his work. What does this work involve? The wiping Israel off the map and conquering the entire globe.”
“The Mahdi will reappear at the Holy Kaaba in Mecca, at which time the entire world will be informed of his advent. He will root out superstition and distortion by reviving the pure and pristine message of Islam as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He will proceed to Iraq, where he will choose the city of Al-Kufah as the seat of his global government of peace, prosperity and justice.”
I must and of course will always abide by the Christian teachings of the Holy Bible. Bible prophecy has already been fulfilled so many times since the return of the Hebrew people to their ancient homeland in Israel in 1948, that, for me, there is no argument as to which set of scriptures are real, reflecting God’s Will and intent for humankind, and which are the opposing false scriptures set forth upon the earth to deceive humankind and re-designate Jesus as a mere mortal prophet, denying that He was the incarnate Son of God.
The Lineage of the 12th Imam aka the Imam Mahdi [ as cited from Wikipedia ]
Hasan al-‘Askarī (Arabic: الإمام الحسن بن علي العسكري) (Eighth of Rabi’ al-thani 232 AH – Eighth of Rabi’ al-awwal 260 AH; approximately: 1 December 846 – 1 January 874) was the eleventh of the Twelve Imams. His given name was Hasan ibn ‘Alī ibn Muhammad. His title al-Askari derives from the Arabic word Asker which means military. He was given this title mainly because the city he lived in (Samarra) was a military camp. Hasan al-‘Askarī was 22, when his father was killed. The period of his Imāmate, following his father’s death, was six years. Hasan Al-‘Askarī died at the age of 28 in the year, 260 Hijra and was buried in Samarra.
1. FamilyHasan al-Askari, whose ancestor was the Islamic Prophet Muhammad, was born in Medina. His father was Imam Ali al-Hadi (a.s.), the tenth Imam of the Shia. He was from the masters of the Ahlul Bayt. His mother was a bondmaid from an-Nawbah. Historians disagreed on her name. Some of them said her name was Saleel which was the most correct according to the previous tradition of Imam al-Hadi (a.s.). Some said she was called Sawsan. Others said her name was Hadithah, and others said Hareebah.2. Oppression by the Abbasid CaliphsHasan al-Askari lived almost his entire life under house arrest in Samarra and under supervision of Abbasid caliphs.3. Tafsir al-AskariHe was very knowledgeable and despite being confined to house arrest for almost his entire life, Hasan al-Askari was able to teach others about Islam, and even compiled a commentary on the Qur’an that would be used by later scholars. This became known as Tafsir al-Askari. However, there was many suspicion regarding whether or not it truly was his or not. The Tafsir was accused by some to be weak in its chain of authorities (Sanad), which is an essential part of the transmission of a tradition. The tafsir was also questioned because it contained a few inconstancies and lacks eloquence which some claim ruin its validity by default. The main reason people questioned the validity of the Tafsir is the fact that the Imam was under constant watch by the Abbasid government who prevented any contact between him and the Shi’i so it would make it impossible for such knowledge to be transferred.4.
