With the increasing commercialization of Christmas, the religious importance of the holiday often gets buried – but not in the minds of most Americans.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of American Adults still think Christmas should be more about Jesus Christ than about Santa Claus. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 17% believe the holiday should be more about the jolly fat man in red. Another 17% are undecided.
Here are the Questions asked in the survey
1* What will you be celebrating this holiday season?
2* Should religious symbols like Christmas Nativity scenes, Hanukkah Menorahs and Muslim Crescents be allowed on public land?
3* Should Christmas be celebrated in public schools?
4* Should Christmas be more about Jesus or Santa?
