I am elbows deep right now into new research on the legends and prophecies of the coming Imam Mahdi, aka the “Dark Messiah.” Many Christians speculate that the Islamic Imam Mahdi may in fact, be the incarnation of the biblical “Son of Perdition” or the Antichrist. Disagreements and misinterpretations of scripture abound when examining this murky subject, but every Christian understands the deep spiritual significance of the Ark of the Covenant to the history of the 12 tribes of Israel and to the development of the modern Christian faith.
As most American Christians know, the original Ark of the Covenant disappeared in 587 B.C. and has not been located or seen since. The Ark had an enormous sacred role and significance to the emerging tribes of Israel in their quest to conquer the land of milk and honey, the Holy Land, which we know today as Israel. It is reiterated again and again in the Old Testament that God had set aside this special homeland for the tribes of Israel, and they were challenged to make themselves spiritually worthy to inherit it.
In the old testament scriptures, the Ark is mentioned repeatedly. It’s presence formed the actual focal point for the Presence of the Lord as the 12 tribes of Israel were guided by God, instructed through His spokesperson Moses as to how they should conduct their religious and family lives in order to make themselves worthy to inherit the Promised Land. I just finished a review of the first 5 books of the bible and nowhere in those books is there a single mention of any other Deity or religious figure having any association with the Hebrew Ark of the Covenant.
Islamic holy writings did not even appear until nearly 700 years after the life and times of Jesus Christ. This I must point out.
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled across the video clip below, which openly states that the Ark of the Covenant is destined to be “rediscovered again” by the appearing prophesied Imam Mahdi, as he claims his sacred affiliation with it and thus proves his spiritual purity and perfection to the world. A more heinous outright lie, and a deeply offensive and blasphemous one at that, I could not even dare to conceive.
I was outraged by this video, which is chock full of religious lies, and misleading comments. It is a textbook example of a false spiritual teaching, contrived to confuse new Christians, and to and usurp the sacred relationship of modern Christendom to the Ark.
These kinds of “radical pro-Islamic indoctrination propaganda videos” have to be confronted head-on, and refuted by the informed and Holy Spirit instructed Christian immediately, without argument or discussion. There is not one mention in the Christian Holy Bible of any religious association whatsoever between the Ark of the Covenant and the Islamic Imam Mahdi, not one. Islam DID NOT EXIST during the time period when the Ark’s instructions were given and it was built and protected by the sacred 12 tribes of Israel.
The video [ posted below] for the readers’ examination below is an outright lie. It represents just one more example of the kind of stomach turning spiritual disinformation and fraudulent teachings that are now pouring onto the web as the global apostasy plot for a false world messiah gains momentum through a literal online avalanche of false spiritual teachings, websites, videos, and false teachers.
Please share this video and essay with those you know and love and be willing at a moment’s notice to refute such religious lies with the truth from Christian scripture.
